We talked with three cameramen who are now, or have been, at the White House in DC. Two are from El Paso, including Gil Solorzano, now with NBC/Universal. One was Doug White, who also had a 25-year career at ABC News as world-wide technical advisor setting up ABC News coverage all over the planet.  Third guy is host Jackson Polk, who also ran camera at the White House.
